SMG : About Us
Introduction
SMG started the business in Facebook on 2019 by selling used apparels and sneakers. We reached 1,800 viewers within 5 streams , shifted the business into selling new products . Within 3 years , we managed to be the first cross-play streaming seller in Malaysia which landed us a page in our local newspaper , Borneo Times on December 18th 2021.
We carried more than 20 Brands , fulfilled many wishes , made surprises for loved ones , we hunt for products worldwide , while they safely shop at home.
Timeline
On 2022 , We encountered a setback where our social media platform have been taken down by Facebook for 1 month. We developed alternatives to strengthen our sales channel including building our own website from scratch and going for Instagram as a backup plan in case it happens again.
2023 was the year we started experimenting on building our own lines of products. Several products were made but mostly for our personal use.
We continued to research materials and developing tech packs to only release the best for the crowd given our experience in this industry.
Launch Of SMG Products
On March 2024 , we launched our first Collection IKIGAI followed by PARABELLUM to set pace on building our own brand. The Mission is to continue providing high quality apparels and accessories while spreading positive influence for those who believe.
Founder
Murray Graham originated from Sandakan and started his journey in streetwear industry during secondary school. He worked with few global brands which brought him experience to travel the world and meeting new people . On 2020 he developed his own distribution system of exporting goods from Malaysia to countries in Asia and this has further helped him to Import Worldwide Streetwear Products and Create his own brand which today we know as : SMG .
